Steve's Ice Cream in Davis Square Somerville was the beginning of the artisan ice cream movement in America. He literally started mix-ins, something later adopted by national chains like cold stone creamery. He's quoted as bragging that his cinnamon cost more per gram than cocaine.
Steve's was an important piece of my childhood, my Dad loved it, i loved it. I can still remember the bright orange mixer in the front window and the smell as you walked in. This is a special one for me, I'm very excited to wear this shirt.
